This is the prettiest, and most practical, laundry rack I've ever seen. I actually want to put this in my bathroom as a towel rack. Centsational Girl did a fantastic job!

These scrap buster pillows by Cluck Cluck Sew are fantastic! I love the look of applique - I just hate doing it. But these inspired me to do a tree applique quilt for Max (which is still in process), and eventually I want to make pillows as well.

31 Days of Inspiration: Block Print Fabric

Plain old fabric + stamps + fabric paint = custom block printed fabric.

Print & Pattern reviewed the book Print Workshop - and showed off some great ideas. I particularly like wrapping yarn around a wood block for an easy and unique stamp. How awesome would that look on fabric? And so easy to play with the dimensions and pattern directions...

For my 31 Days of Change I'm raiding my Pinterest boards. The next 31 days encompasses a lot of things that make me want to change or do something - usually with some elbow grease - and that inspire me enough that I make a note of them. Maybe in that distant place called someday I'll have the time, energy, and resources. For now, I'll let the photos and other people's hard work inspire me.

Regarding why I chose this picture, if you're interested - Every time I look at it there's just another way that the girl embodies how I feel right at that moment. The little boy in the background is the part that inspires me - to let loose and just play. No agenda, no making it harder than it is, no adding a maze to a simple wheel - just play.
